What you do:
- You will be responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating production operations for radio newscasts and television news programs at CBC/Radio-Canada Quebec.
- You will also contribute to improving the content, on-air look and direction of news programs and newscasts.
- Finally, in concert with the Manager, Information Programming, Information French Television, you will seek out resources to achieve cooperation objectives between Radio, Television and New Media.
We are seeking candidates with the following profile:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Ten (10) years’ journalism experience
- Experience managing budgets and human resources
- Excellent knowledge of journalistic processes, newsgathering methods, and television/radio/Web production
- Proven editorial judgment and news sense
- Thorough understanding of communications as well as media-specific communication principles
- Proven personnel and production-resource management skills
- Leadership
- Excellent communicator
- Extensive general knowledge
- Good knowledge of current affairs
- Solid command of French
- Very good knowledge of English
- Knowledge of CBC/Radio-Canada Journalistic Standards and Practices
