What you do:

As Circulation and Inventory Clerk, your role will be to oversee the circulation of audiovisual media. This will involve providing users with the production media they need, when they need it. You will also have to check material being loaned or ordered; recall loans as required; store and file material in accordance with standards; and maintain inventory tracking systems.

For reference purposes, this position has a rotating schedule (days, evenings and weekend). The offcie is openned from 6:30 AM to 22:00 and this, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Temporary position until December 5, 2010.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum six (6) months’ experience performing related duties.
• Knowledge of standards for receiving, processing and preserving material.
• Knowledge of systems for tracking the circulation, storage and inventory of material.
• Computer skills.
• Client-service skills.
• Available to work on flexible hours (morning, day, evening and weekends).
• Available to work in vaults and video library.
• Punctual and able to follow strict delivery and collection schedules.
• Able to work in an environment with frequent interruptions and distractions.

Candidates may be subject to skills testing.
