Sarah Westwood walks with George along the Seawall
George is asked what next for the campaign “A Million Acts of Green”.
He uses the term “we”, without clarifying that the campaign was created in conjunction with CISCO, who wanted to experiment with social network marketing, and chose the issue and provided resources and funding.
That’s why he doesn’t have an answer.
It was essentially a gimmick to enhance the media image of The Hour by appearing to attach itself to a popular cause.
George’s own view of people who are concerned for the environment is a bit more “light-hearted”, if not plainly derisive.
Speaking of having a Mt. Rushmore-type monument for politicians in Canada …

“Green” George will be hysterical when we run out of oil. No more “being cool riding the Harley” – say bye-bye! True hipsters ride bikes, anyway. Right George?
I want Bill Murray to host The Hour!
In the immortal words of Bill Murray in “MeatBalls”: it just doesn’t matter, it just doesn’t matter, it just doesn’t matter, it just doesn’t matter….
Okey-dokey…..so apathetic, don’t care about your opinions about Karma either. Whatevah…
Strombored!
And BTW, the concept of Karma is total bullshit.
(nothing personal, KP)
George’s apathy & sarcasm is catching. I don’t care about him, his shows, his girlfriends, his opinions, his motorcycles, what song is “in his head” or his “causes” anymore. I’m DONE!
