The Children’s Hour

The nice man in the sweater exploits “little peanuts”.

By way of introduction, let’s get a laugh by mentioning that some of the guys working on The Hour like to fuck.

“It’s a good chance that somebody on this staff fathered your children.
I’ve seen this when we take this show on the road.
These people are crazy.”

George, why do people put metal objects into their faces like you did?
And don’t say you don’t know, like you do with the other questions.

When is the cancelation of The Hour going to be announced? Are they waiting until after the end of the season?

  • Blunt says:

I think I’m actually embarrassed for George, crap. Can someone please cancel this show, it’s just getting really, really bad now. Enough already.

  • PoonGirl says:

Some guys think tattoos are hot in women.

  • Vox Clamantis in Deserto says:

All this energy wasted on George when meanwhile: http://www.theglobeandmail.com/life/work/barbara-budd-the-voice-interrupted/article1522939/

  • Lost in Transition says:

Piercings & Tattoos are a waste of money. Sooner or later, everyone regrets them and removes them. And now that EVERYONE gets them, they are no longer hip or unique. They’re boring and show a lack of imagination.

I don’t think this bit is working out as well for The Hour as they thought it would. Ally cat should upload Ah-In’s interview – she didn’t say a word. Hahaha.

But, I think this post is too mean spirited, let’s leave the kids out of it.

Maybe Allan should take this up with George in person … maybe Allan has little peanuts in his pants instead of balls ? Is that why you don’t answer me Ally cat ? But you have time to research George it seems.

Also, don’t make fun of people with piercings, it’s a personal choice. 50 cent is the real coward, he removed all the tatts on his arms for “movie roles”. I guess he just wanted to be a thug in the begining of his career and now that he’s established he wants to be a regular guy again.

In closing, I think The Hour was trying to do a cute bit with kids, gathering the nation and trying to get us to answer un-answerable questions and once again it failed.

Notice the difference in the more recent vids of George and that one of him years back in the promo talking about his nose ring? He was a lot more “cocksure” back in the day, he even makes reference to his cock! Nowadays, he couldn’t be more earnest “please like me” if he tried. Low ratings and threat of cancellation have a way of humbling a person.

Maybe he should start handing out money to the audience?

Watching George “trying” to do comedy reminds me of how sad it is that Eric Tunney died last week. As some of you may remember, he was once the host Switchback on CBC, among other things, and he was an actual comedian – not a VJ like George. But the CBC had no use for him nor do they have any use for any other actual comedians. Why? Because style defeated substance a long time ago at the CBC.

    RIP, Eric.

    RIP, CBC.

  • Arrested Development says:

Gross! George comes off like some creepy, cynical, sarcastic pedophile exploiting kids for free labour and material. Ick! Is this the “journalism” that the CBC is ditching people like Barbara Budd for?
