“unlike any program on television”
“one of the most respected journalists in Canada”
… according to the CBC
An obvious and simple format, with a host who can’t even write a proper sentence.
Credibility has left the building.

If it wasn’t for this post I wouldn’t have even known about it … now I gotta get the whole set … thanks!
Why be bored for one hour, when you could be bored for hundreds of hours in a row. It’s the gift that keeps on giving.
I’m getting a set as a sleep-aid for my insomniac friend.
CBC Learning has a Little Mosque on the Prairie set? Goofy.
But not surprising, really. The first two years’ worth – looking back – seem more useful to that end than you might expect.
Why are you so exercised over this show and its host? It lives in a broadcast dead zone. Put anything or anybody there and the numbers will be equally bad. Nobody in Canada pays as much attention as you guys. That the numbers for news are going there too, that’s a real problem.
…because you can’t pass through the GTA without having his image accosting you (whether you want it or not). How much did his billboards/posters cost? More potential money for production thrown away….
The GTA is the CBC’s known universe … why would they put them elsewhere?
Too true – but why have those billboards/posters at all? It screams – hey taxpayer! This is your money up here promoting George’s career! Sorry we don’t have enough money for healthcare or the homeless or better productions at the CBC.
…speaking of commercialization….ka-ching!
