Of the $171 million in cuts announced by Hubert Lacroix, 73% of that amount is to be realized by the selling of some CBC “assets”.
And while many production cuts have been specifically named, no one as yet knows what real estate or equipment is going to be put up for sale.
CBC management has apparently found unneeded properties valued at $125 million, but has yet to inform potential buyers who to contact, let alone how they arrived at that number.
Could Hubert be stalling, or bluffing?

Is our inflated and self-centred bureaucracy an “asset”?
They seem to think so.
Maybe China would be interested in purchasing an prime example of the evolution of the word “Mandarin” in western culture
the CBC down $170 million you say?
funny then that the feds are considering bailing out the privates for close to the same amount.
