Q is for Quantum

Ghomeshi moonlights at National Post
“They could’ve called the film Gluten of Melancholy and we would still all flock to the megaplexes like baby goats needing a teat.”

Teats & gluten. Some are positively gluttons for both.

    This morning (Nov 24):

more shouting, plus an interview with Richard Florida by phone.

WTF, Richard Florida lives in Toronto.

Maybe he’s out of town, but the story they’re covering isn’t particularly current. They couldn’t do this story on a day when he’s in town? U of T is walking distance from the CBC.

Sorry, Allan, but we all know that you don’t know shit about CBC training, because YOU’VE NEVER WORKED THERE.

    Piss off.

  • Allan says:

See, that’s the problem with the radio training at the CBC.
It’s like being put through a Rock Tumbler. They strip away the natural pattern of speech and make it conform to some antiquated … … ah, forget it.

Listening to Q right now… Jian is reading audience letters, but shouting all of them.

Sorry, but did this guy get any training at all?

wow. an essay on a bond film. how original. how important. i can’t wait to hear about it on Q.
    or Bold.
Jian enriches all media with his insight and wit.
the cbc is lucky to have him. what a beacon.

The column is a Canwest joke at the CBC’s expense.

  • Fruxy Morvus says:

Wow. Jian is a terrible writer. His style is rotten, and his weird attempt to put an essay together are pretty weak. Not to mention that we learn nothing about the movie in question.

    Stick to marina cleaning, Jian!

Listened to Q the other day and discovered a genuine breakthrough radio personality: Burton Cummings.

What beastly line drawing of poor Jian, his neck looks muttonesque.
