The solution to my link display woes turned out to be pretty simple. A new blog. The Tea Makers Link Farm.
So, if you’re like the President and CEO of the CBC and you check this blog every day, there might be some nice links for you here. But if you’re the kind of discerning Tea Makers reader who prefers the meaty thought-pieces over the fluffy linkery, you can just get the RSS feed to Tea Makers proper.
The link farm gives us all a chance to discuss the issues of the day, no matter who writes them, and no matter where they are. As always, I don’t care if you use your real name or not. In fact, I’d prefer it if you didn’t.
I’ve also set up a simple rating system on both blogs. You don’t need to log in to use it, just click a star that reflects your feelings towards the quality of the writing. This is brought to us by a company called Outbrain and they tell me that next up is a “top rated posts” doodad. Exciting.
Lastly I would like to thank everyone who wrote me over the last week with encouragement, ideas, and offers of help. I was taken aback by the strong feelings people have towards this site, and their selfless desire to assist me in making this site better.

That is so un-CBC
And besides, we’ll tend to the mean, (statistically) and you’ll get 3s in the long term.
I’d like to see a ban on short works of less than three syllables please. That will jazz up the writing if not improve it.
And we should strive for more iambic pentametre couplets with an occasional Petrarchean sonnet from from M/me Ouimet.
