George goes to L.A.

So now the grand design becomes clear to all us lowly minions.

Although, according to George, this was all done on a whim?

If true, I respect that, but he has to realize that he’s treading close to Thicke of the Night territory here. Very dangerous.

If I were in his shoes, not sure I would’ve given up my cool cross-country motorcycle trip for it.

Over on the Stroumboulopouli fan blog, Producer Jeremy Burman seems as surprised as everyone else, and proves that he can out-fanboy the fangirls with his enthusiasm for the Strombo. No mean feat.

Best of luck to you, George, seriously.

Just don’t let ’em sing The Clash. Just don’t.

Congrats to George. As an American I would say you guys seem to have alot of angst over American TV monopolization but no real frame work on how to keep Canadian audiences tuned into your network. Money does talk doesn’t it? Don’t get me wrong, I love the CBC both literally and figuratively in more ways than you oould know. But here is the bottom line: You need money.
Money to attract talent and money to keep great programming.
Yea, everbody up there says screw America but really who is screwing you? Competition or your own government? You need to get smarter than the hand that feeds you. Or else quit complaining.
