All to the good

For those of you inside reading this – and I know you are legion – if you want to read lock-out and lock-in blog highlights, you can go to

http://intranet/corp_en/media/

I wish I would have found it sooner.

For those of you on the outside reading this, if you have a camera and are looking to stick it to the man’s home page, you can post a photo on the flicker web site and “tag” it as “cbclockout” and it will apparently be automatically loaded to this web site behind the firewall.

Sorry. It’s gone now. Oops.

Actually, they didn’t lift it from him (but he was quick to take credit, eh?) It looks like they actually got the list from here. They probably added names for other blog lists where there wasn’t overlap.

Can’t really blame them for pulling from I’ve been locked out before Maffin’s though – recently its been a much better blog.

one interesting thing is that although they took the list of Blogs from Tod’s site, they went and added LAST NAMES (Tod only lists first names).

    A little scary…

Those locked out can see a screen shot of this at:

It is the same old same old. Managers playing head games to amuse themselves.

Yes you do have to work for the cbc to get intranet. It is the “internal” internet hence the title intranet. None of the 5,500 locked out employees have access to it anymore. All our accounts were disabled as well as our cell and desk phones. So, the only people who can access the intranet are managers and non-union workers and the people in Montreal and Moncton who belong to a different union. They were locked out in 2001, I believe.

do i have to work for cbc to see a intranet? all i see is a spammy sort of page, like when you accidentally add too many o’s in google… gah.

This may come as a surprise to you, but those of us who have been locked out don’t have access to the intranet!

I had a friend view it from inside Radio-Canada in Montreal, since they are not locked out, and have access to the Intranet. All it has on it are excerpts from blogs – The Garrett Tree, etc….anything that mentions Rabinovitch….nothing secret, just a compilation of things gleened from the blogs on cbcunplugged….

Do you have any idea how outside viewers can see this? Does your intranet webserevr have an external IP address (one not starting with either 192.168, or 10)?

    WHAT?!
