Should Ottawa give the CBC $65 million?
More like, would Ottawa please lend the CBC $250 million until next year?
Perhaps after the CBC demonstrates good faith by laying off a few people?

It’s astro-turfing by the pajamadran bloggers who have so much time on their hands and pass on survey notes to each other to game the system.
As it is, a random poll would find out that the real question is “What is the CBC?” as it is a fleeting flash in their channel surfing.
However MPs should remember that during the lockout, they found that it was only the CBC that covered them and their causes. It does have a national mandate unlike the local “hot! Tunes!” stations with a wire feed news service.
gee whiz … I would have thought The Star readership would have been more friendly.
