I hope it's not really. I think his talent as a host is brutal - the white(r) Arsenio Hall - but bringing family into it is bad karma. If it's not really his dad, people have to know for it to be funny.

Umm, I can verify this most likely is his father. It's not a joke, but Allan won't take it down even though I aggree we should leave his dead beat dad out of it !
-
I think this photo should be taken down !

Critique one's work. Critique one's public persona. Family issues should be left alone. It is not the business of anyone but the people involved. Quite frankly this is kind of juvenile and takes away from any valid points Allan makes. We are not on the school playground. Grow up.

They both sit the same....

Black clothes. Black shoes. Black hair dye. That's definitely George's dad.

way too far.

We always go too far because we're "edgy" like George. We're rebels, man! We've got a punk attitude and we dress in black and that scares people in suits and ties!
-
I saw a guy wearing a black T shirt the other day and I nearly sh1t my pants! I was so scared! I ran for my life and called 911! I hope the police caught the guy.

What is the point of posting this exactly?
And if this is fair play, let's see some pictures of Allan and his family.

Get a grip, people. We've all seen pictures of famous peoples parents before. What's the big deal? Is George ashamed of his father? Is his father ashamed of George? We're not allowed to see a picture of his dad? Get real.

His father posted a nice note to George in a public forum so it's wasn't a big secret or anything. He said that he is proud of George and that he loves him .... it was sweet. That is how the photo was found.
George's father looks really Mediterranean
-
LOL, George is like a mini-me of his father - instead of a moustache he has a soul patch.
-
Is George estranged from his father? Is that why his father posted in a public forum telling him that he loves him and is proud of him -- because that's the only way he can communicate that to George?

Stroumboulopoulos’s stamina and self-reliance comes from his mother. Mary Ivanyshan is a petite Ukrainian woman with a voice soft as a hankie and a gentle expression that she passed on to her son. His father, Mark, a Greek from Cairo, worked at a Ford factory in Oakville. George’s parents were married when they were 19, and he was born in Toronto in 1972. Before George was six, his family moved about five times in and around the Jane and Wilson area. One morning, while seven-year-old George was eating a bowl of cereal, he saw his dad, dressed in a suit, walk out the door. He never came back. “I think he said, ‘I’ll see you later,’ just as he said every morning,” Stroumboulopoulos recalls softly. “I don’t know what he does now. I’m sure my dad is a good guy. He was young.” There’s an exaggerated casualness in his delivery.
