   It's been roughly 1 year since "The Tea Makers" site was closed for comments. It was amusing to pop in and read some of the comments about 2 of my favourite CBC icons. I thought I'd start this new thread for people to add any new updates. Is there anything new that's happened from when we left off?

   I know Strombo's show was cut back and is now 30 mins.

   Jian's show Q was supposed to be syndicated & sold to stations in the US, but I never heard nothing more mentioned of that?

   A new LIGHTS album is set to release in the summer (2011), anyone excited about that?

   Is Jim Richards still dating Strombo?

   If anyone has any comments to share let's do it here!

   I've spotted Jian on the Danforth a few times. Looks like he's dating a lot, both times he was in the company of younger women, early 20's, both were blondes. Jian had his skinny jeans on. Maybe Lights was out of town? ;-)

   I've seen Jian at the Yoga studio I go to, it's also located on the danforth, he might live nearby but he drives to get there so he can't be that close. It's funny to see him do yoga...I try not to stare but with noises he makes, it's hard not to.

   Jian's client Lights received over $140,000 from the Radio Starmaker Fund (where Jian is on the Board Of Directors) last year. Not surprisingly, it was the largest amount given to any new solo artist last year :
