    CBC Radio One's Q, with host Jian Ghomeshi, will tape a special live audience show at CBC Toronto's Glenn Gould Studio.

    The program will feature:
    - Celebrated indie rock collective Broken Social Scene
    - American humourist and everyman food writer Calvin Trillin

    Plus, actor Paul Gross drops by with news of his movie western, Gunless...and Q's irreverent Cultural Hall of Shame curator, comedian Elvira Kurt, announces her latest inductees.
    Q will announce even more guests in the coming days.

    Doors open at 6:15pm, and it tapes from 7-9pm. The show will be broadcast the next day on Q.

    To get tickets, send an email to qtickets@cbc.ca.
    They're available on a first-come, first-served basis with a limit of two per request. All ticket requests will be confirmed by email.

    No she isn't. Or, at the very least, she calls herself one, but I have yet to find anyone that likes her humour. She is probably someone's friend (and that means she is probably Jian's friend or some lady-lover management type's friend).

    The Jian Show is a lot like The Ed Sullivan show.
    The audience turned up in spite of Ed.
