<description>&#60;p&#62;That ad campaign was around for a while.  I have a 1989 CBC Radio commercial in the same style, but centred around Peter Gzowski.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;The 1986 ad is far better than the current CBC Radio 2 commercials, which feature idealized target demos &#34;discovering&#34; &#34;new&#34; music.  They're better than random shots of the number 2, but not by much.  CBC Radio One commercials are always shot of host, studio shot, graphics, so they don't even count.
