I thought Jian was lactose-intolerant & couldn't drink milk. Why does his essay say he has it in his fridge? That man's always changing his mind...the vegetarian who eats turkey....

What you may be sensing is his guilt in using someone else' "milk" idea from YouTube via The Toronto Star. I can't imagine him going out with two girls at the same time??!

The Tweet feels bizarre. You know it feels a bit like he is going out with two girls at the same time and accidentally sent a text message to the wrong one.

Yes Jian we know we have milk bags................................

His descriptive adjectives are limited. I have also noticed that. Many of the hosts are like that at the CBC. It just goes to show how unoriginal they are. What a bunch of idiots!!!! There are so many great people in Canada - people who are naturally charming with great personalities and people who are simply great hosts/interviewers, but they all get overlooked for the douche bags that the higher-ups want to hire. No wonder the public wants to get rid of the CBC. If it was good and reflected what the public wanted, then it would be different. But, if it's just a bunch of 'big heads' that 'think' they are important and 'think' they know what Canada wants, then 'yes, it's time to pull the plug'. Ciao CBC.

Jian says "...there is two..." . CBC is/was one of the guardians of English grammar as she be spoked. Ask Jian how to say "Bethune". Adrian Clarkson may disagree...

I will try anonymously.

I have been a CBC fan for over 40 years. That makes me old I know. I still listen to the radio though. Unfortunately, shows like Go! and whatever they call Jian's adventure have been the best thing that could happen to Radio 2 and CKUA.

Jian and vacuous should rhyme!

I would like a few (I almost said more) pithy interviews a la Peter Gzowski. Do we need more pablum?

so someone who is willing to "play ball" is easier to interview than someone who isn't.

and a good interview is entirely dependent on the guest.

We're learning so much!

Elsewhere he says "interviews are like two dogs. We're sniffing each other out at the beginning."
