user2 grabs the mic

Today John Spence was before the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage, giving testimony as a witness in their “Full investigation of the role of a public broadcaster in the 21st century.”

John Spence is the editor of cbcwatch.ca, and perhaps the enigmatic “user2.”

I’m curious to see the transcript of this, when it comes out. Perhaps he discussed the new CBC site he has in development?

Preliminary reports are calling him “cute,” but I’ll be the judge of that.

Of course not Allan, I’m pretty sure you’re one of them though – so you’d know that.

I doubt that CBCwatch.org has anything to do with the Corp. It makes references to “students of CBC” and “persons whom go to CBC.”

I think it’s for people who go to any one of the colleges called “CBC.”

    * Central Bible College, an Assemblies of God institution of higher learning located in Springfield, Missouri
    * Coastal Bend College, a moderately-sized community college
    * Columbia Basin College, a community college in Pasco, Washington
    * Columbia Bible College, a Christian institution of higher education located in Columbia, South Carolina

Why, did they bring you up, Justin?

What is this? Are we now to see ratings of men’s appearances?
Let’s get back to Lynn Russel, and what a fine newsreader she is.

Boy, these Heritage Committee gigs are a pretty sweet deal aren’t they?
All expenses paid and you just have to turn up. Some of the time.
Underlings provide you with the virtually finished product.
    And it means so little.
I can’t think of anything more fun really.
So I wish it for you, Ouimet.

I’m sure the CBC watch kids made a compelling case for improving mental health services in Ontario

Mr. Spence is a fine looking man, that much you would agree with.
